Agni Yoga (1929) - 563:
Why must the Teaching be absorbed as the basis of existence? If one begins to apply the Teaching egoistically, one will begin to add structures without first attending to the foundation. Half-hearted striving causes inner discord and does not bring regeneration. All harmful consequences result from half-hearted striving. Because of this, people cannot perfect themselves and cannot purify their sense of beauty, without which the blending of one's consciousness with the Teacher's is impossible. Infinity - Book 1 (1930) - 162:
162. The delay attending destruction does not bring salutary results. How rhythmical are the sequences of the Cosmic Magnet! The retardation of the predestined means delay of the appointed date. Indeed, the Cosmic Magnet does not cease its creation even in time of apparent quietude. Therefore, too, the shifting which must occur does not tarry but acts in rhythm with the Cosmic Magnet. AUM (1936) - 417:
It is impermissible to erect obstacles to free cognition. Affirmation of true equality of rights might better be called full rights. The obligations attending the recognition of full equality will liberate life from coarse customs, from foul speech, from falsehood, from dusty routine. But the new evolution must be begun early in life if thoughts about it have not flashed out independently.
